German Translator

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and edit AI-generated translations between German and English
• Assess translations for grammatical accuracy, fluency, cultural nuance, and context sensitivity
• Challenge models with idiomatic expressions, ambiguous phrases, and varying tones
• Document model failures and provide insights to improve translation quality
• Annotate errors and provide cultural or contextual explanations
• Suggest improvements to prompts, evaluation methods, and model behavior

Requirements

• Strong command of both German and English
• Ability to articulate translation decisions clearly
• Professional background in translation, linguistics, localization, or language education
• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with technical, literary, or media translation
