About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the GIS ticket queue to support internal users
- Solve data issues by reviewing plant drawings, maps, and aerial photographs
- Audit partner address releases and ingest data into databases
- Maintain as-built records and convert CAD formats to structured data
- Update IQGeo with plant moves and network changes
- Produce output for FCC reporting and generate geospatial reports for stakeholders
Requirements
- Completed Post-secondary education in Applied Geography, GIS, or equivalent
- 3+ years of GIS, AutoCAD, or network documentation system experience
- 2+ years of experience with spatial data, data entry, and conversion
- 2+ years of demonstrated project management skills
- Proficiency with SQL queries, especially PostGIS
- Familiarity with IQGeo preferred
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro is a plus
- Programming experience with Go or Python is an asset
