About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and implement gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using the Godot engine
- Collaborate on scene creation, visual scripting, and asset integration
- Provide documentation and written feedback on development processes
- Deliver code reviews and mentorship to improve code quality
- Identify and resolve technical challenges and optimize performance
- Participate in iterative development cycles and playtesting
- Adapt project assets and logic to evolving scope requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in game development in AAA, indie, or solo contexts
- Portfolio or verifiable published work
- Advanced proficiency with a major game engine such as Unity, Godot, or Unreal
- Scripting in C#, GDScript, C++, or Blueprints
- Ability to resolve gameplay issues through iterative playtesting
- Strong written communication for task instructions and acceptance criteria
- Game QA, technical design, or AI evaluation experience is a plus
