About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and mature governance, risk management, compliance, and audit programs
- Own cybersecurity compliance initiatives including CMMC Level 2, SOC audits, and SOX ITGC
- Partner with business, technology, and executive stakeholders on security controls and policies
- Support organizational risk management and audit readiness
Requirements
- 10+ years in GRC, information security, risk management, or cybersecurity
- 3+ years of leadership or program ownership
- Direct experience with CMMC Level 2 compliance programs
- Hands-on SOC 1 and/or SOC 2 audit management
- SOX compliance and IT General Controls testing and remediation
- Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-171
- Risk assessments, compliance gap analyses, and remediation planning
- Working with external auditors, assessors, and regulators
- Developing security policies, standards, and governance documentation
- Strong communication, project, and stakeholder management
Preferred Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CIA, or CGRC certification
- Experience in a Defense Industrial Base or regulated environment
