About the role
Responsibilities
- Negotiate rates, concessions, and contract terms within pre-approved authority levels
- Draft and issue Group Sales Agreements ensuring alignment with hotel policies
- Manage cut-off dates, attrition, and cancellation clauses
- Support and mentor Sales Executives and Coordinators
- Provide on-the-job training for new joiners on systems like Opera and CI/TY
- Act as first point of escalation for the team in the Manager's absence
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations
- Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 2 years of related work experience
