Head of AI Native Operations

Responsibilities

• Own the maturity model end to end: The rubric, the scoring method, the evidence standard, and the appeals path
• Run assessments and commitments with department heads
• Define the standards layer for work tracking, decision resolution, and shared tooling
• Fix the decision process and ensure written proposals reach resolution
• Run the operating cadence including automated weekly reporting and leadership reviews
• Manage rollouts and wire standards into onboarding
• Build and direct a team of two senior individual contributors
• Measure and publish outcomes regarding coordination work absorbed by agents

Requirements

• Experience running operating cadence and program discipline at a company of 200 to 800 people while remote and async
• Personal experience building agentic AI workflows
• Proven track record of taking a standard from zero to company-wide adoption without direct authority
• Exceptional written communication skills for asynchronous environments
• Comfortable being graded publicly by the system you build

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running a maturity model or capability assessment across teams
• Native to Git, Markdown, and Pull Requests
• Deep software engineering background is a plus
• Experience replacing recurring meetings with automated systems
