About the role
Responsibilities
- Set the strategy for how we support university groups
- Launch new initiatives like regional organizers and residencies
- Own how we support and fund groups
- Represent the work externally to organizers, universities, and funders
- Build and lead the groups team
- Contribute to Kairos org-wide strategy
Requirements

Experience organizing AI safety university groups or similar programs

Deep context on the AI safety ecosystem

Strong judgment regarding people and hiring

High-agency and ability to execute autonomously

Mission-aligned with a focus on AI safety risks
