Head of IT

Responsibilities

• Own the internal IT service management setup, including request handling, incident management, and SLA tracking
• Manage the corporate IT landscape, including end-user tools, identity and access setup, and collaboration systems
• Oversee procurement, provisioning, and lifecycle management of company devices and IT assets
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, including selection, renewals, and performance reviews
• Drive the adoption of approved AI tools and automation solutions to improve productivity
• Establish guardrails for AI usage, including data handling standards and access controls in coordination with Security and Legal
• Partner with People, Finance, and Security teams to support onboarding, offboarding, and company-wide IT needs
• Build and maintain a long-term roadmap for tool standardization and process automation

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of experience in corporate IT, workplace technology, or IT operations with leadership responsibility
• Proven experience scaling IT service management and internal support operations in a growing technology company
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, endpoint lifecycle management, and SaaS administration
• Experience with IT asset management, procurement processes, and vendor management
• Practical experience evaluating, rolling out, or governing AI tools for internal productivity
• Ability to balance user experience with security, operational reliability, and cost efficiency
• Hands-on, pragmatic mindset with the ability to switch between strategic planning and operational execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Web3, crypto, or fast-scaling international technology environments
• Familiarity with MDM, SSO, device compliance, and zero-touch provisioning practices
• Experience implementing or improving ITIL-based service management processes
• Exposure to audit, compliance, or policy-driven IT control environments
• Experience with automation for onboarding, access management, or IT support workflows
