Many large companies make billions each year by monetizing Americans’ personal data. At Neon, we’re finally cutting consumers in on the deal. Neon allows our users to make hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars per year by securely selling their anonymized data.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile product and roadmap for 500,000+ users
• Write code and make major architectural decisions
• Solve complex engineering problems related to VoIP and telephony
• Integrate real-time communication tools
• Support backend APIs and services to power the mobile experience
• Balance startup speed with consumer app stability

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the US
• Deep mobile experience with 6+ years building and releasing iOS and Android apps
• Significant experience with React Native and cross-platform development
• Expertise in native development using Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C
• Proven VoIP knowledge (SIP, WebRTC, or similar) and experience handling call quality/carrier constraints
• Full-stack flexibility to work with backend APIs
• Pragmatic approach to engineering and shipping fast
• Strong ownership mentality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building apps for international markets and handling localization
• Experience in early-stage startup environments
• Background in CPaaS or telecom industries
