Head of Operations & Planning

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consolidated view of all major OFEA processes, events, projects, and staffing demands
• Oversee daily operations across the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), Nexus, and Postdoctoral Affairs
• Own project plans and timelines for major initiatives such as faculty orientation and program launches
• Build and maintain a library of reusable templates and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Own the office's data and reporting infrastructure, including dashboards and shared repositories
• Consolidate program metrics into regular reports for stakeholders
• Support the integration of new teams into shared workflows and reporting structures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in higher education or business administration
• 8+ years of experience in program/project management, ideally within higher education or faculty affairs
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple teams without formal line authority
• Strong systems-thinking and process-documentation skills
• Proficiency with data tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI)

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or similar project management certification
