Head of Research and Design

Responsibilities

• Lead the research and design team toward an AI-native product and agentic commerce experience
• Own the end-to-end user journey, ensuring trust and performance in generated experiences
• Design agentic experiences, including conversational and headless interactions
• Develop an AI-native, token-driven design system for automated high-fidelity generation
• Define the research agenda regarding agentic B2B commerce, buyer/seller behavior, and privacy
• Maintain a high bar for craft, fidelity, and quality within a fast-paced team

Requirements

• Proven experience building AI-powered or agentic products with demonstrable prototypes
• Strong portfolio of commercially shipped products with measurable business impact
• Experience leading both product design and user research while remaining hands-on
• Ability to translate market and industry research into a clear product vision
• Practical AI fluency across the design process and experience with AI-driven design systems
• Experience developing designers and researchers in collaboration with Product Management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce (B2B or B2C), specifically with complex buyer and seller journeys
