Responsibilities

• Lead the Secondary school section (Grades 6-12) within an American curriculum framework
• Oversee American curriculum development, implementation, and assessment aligned with US Common Core State Standards
• Manage staff supervision, performance management, and professional development
• Analyze academic and behavioral data to implement data-driven solutions for student outcomes
• Ensure full compliance with all Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) regulations and inspection frameworks
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment among educators, students, and parents

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant academic subject
• Minimum of 7 years of full-time teaching experience in an American curriculum school (Grades 6-12)
• Minimum of 4 years of proven leadership experience in an American curriculum setting
• Valid and current Professional Teaching License/Certification from a recognized US state or equivalent North American authority
• Expert-level understanding of American Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
• Proficiency in educational technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Ability to obtain and maintain ADEK approval as an Educational Leader

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
• Leadership/Administrative credential
