Head - Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Assist the Group Head - ISAG in Shari'a audit excellence and governance oversight
• Provide independent third line assurance on Shari'a governance, non-compliance risk and internal Shari'a controls
• Perform risk-based audit planning based on the Shari'a Audit Universe
• Review Fatwas and resolutions and monitor implementation of Shari'a controls
• Perform quality assurance reviews on audit planning, exception sheets and audit reports
• Coordinate with Group Internal Audit, Group Compliance and CBUAE on requirements and open findings
• Prepare ISAG dashboards and quarterly activity reports

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant or bachelor's degree from a reputable institute or university
• 7-10 years in audit, including Big 4 or Islamic banking experience
• Certifications such as CIA or CSAA
• English and Arabic language skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
