Head, Scientific Research Unit

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the research agenda, policy briefs, and analytical reports
• Provide inputs to policy research to inform national development strategies and standards
• Ensure cutting-edge knowledge production and dissemination through networking and lessons learned
• Support innovation in PMO governance through new tools and methodologies
• Manage research partnerships with institutes, civil society, and other relevant bodies
• Oversee the outputs of the Scientific Research staff

Requirements

• Experience in results-based research projects and initiatives
• Experience in managing teams and capacity development
• Advanced degree in scientific research, policy, economics, administration, or related field
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with international development or non-profit organizations
• Experience working in a start-up business environment
