About the role
Responsibilities
- Own overall operational performance, service quality, and customer outcomes across the division
- Define, implement, and continuously evolve the division's operating model
- Lead and sponsor transformation initiatives to increase efficiency and automation
- Manage operating budgets, transformation investments, and cost management
- Hold senior accountability for operational risk management and control effectiveness
- Build strong partnerships with Business, Technology, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders
- Lead, develop, and inspire leadership teams and broader Operations staff
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience in banking or financial services operations
- Expert knowledge of FX, MM, Derivatives, Capital Markets, Bonds, Equities, and Islamic products
- End-to-end understanding of deal processing, settlement, corporate actions, and Nostro management
- Strong grasp of valuation techniques, margining, and hedge accounting
- Knowledge of payment systems and clearing mechanisms (DFM, ADX, DGCX, DIFX)
- 20+ years of experience highly preferred
- Proven experience leading high-impact transformation and automation initiatives
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capability
