Heart of House Specialist (Steward)

Responsibilities

• Support vital hotel functions including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry departments
• Prepare clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dish washing machines and linen washers/dryers
• Transport dishware or linens across the hotel
• Maintain a safe workplace and follow company policies and procedures
• Uphold quality standards and professional personal appearance
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees
• Commitment to maintaining professional communications and positive working relationships
