Hostess

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the restaurant entrance and seat them according to the floor plan
• Manage restaurant reservations, cancellations, and telephone inquiries with professional etiquette
• Maintain complete knowledge of dining room layout, table setups, and restaurant capacity
• Monitor guest satisfaction through regular table visits and handle complaints promptly
• Coordinate with management regarding VIP arrivals, group activities, and reservation changes
• Ensure the hostess stand, menus, and check folders are clean and organized
• Assist restaurant staff and supervisors with various operational tasks as needed

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality
• Experience in a 4-5 star hotel (fresher candidates also considered)
• Ability to maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene
• Flexibility to adapt to changing departmental needs and business demands
