HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the HR team, supporting benefits administration, leave of absence management, employee relations, and performance management
• Act as the primary point of contact for routine employee and manager HR inquiries
• Administer HR programs, procedures, and company policies to ensure compliance
• Maintain the company people intranet and oversee employee recognition programs
• Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, including exit interviews
• Manage FMLA, leave of absence, and accommodation processes
• Administer workers' compensation claims and address routine employee relations issues
• Maintain accurate employee data and HR records within the HRIS system
• Support recruitment, employee engagement, and company culture initiatives
• Assist with payroll, compensation, and benefits special projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, leave administration, and HRIS management
• Experience working with HRIS systems is required
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements at federal, state, and local levels
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
