About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain payroll records and partner with Finance to review semi-monthly payroll across all companies
- Manage new employee onboarding, including payroll and benefit setup and orientations
- Maintain digital employee records and assist with drafting employment documents
- Serve as first point of contact for employee HR questions
- Administer benefits, act as main contact with providers and reconcile benefit deductions monthly
- Assist managers with performance management and HR compliance training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources
- Exposure to labor law and employment equity regulations
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
- Exposure to payroll practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Paylocity
