About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver HSE training courses per TAQA Distribution requirements
- Conduct classroom, practical and toolbox-style training sessions
- Facilitate training on HSE policies, hazard identification, risk assessment and incident prevention
- Explain and reinforce TAQA Distribution HSE procedures and safety rules
- Use presentations, case studies, demonstrations and assessments to improve learning
- Deliver clear, engaging training in Arabic
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in OHS, Environmental Management, Engineering or related discipline
- Recognized HSE qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years relevant HSE experience, preferably utilities, power or oil and gas
- At least 3 years delivering HSE training
- Experience developing HSE presentations, assessments and practical training
- Familiarity with Permit to Work, electrical safety and isolation procedures
- Fluent Arabic speaker
Preferred Qualifications
- Train-the-trainer or instructional delivery qualification
- Experience with UAE clients, utility companies or large industrial organizations
- First aid, fire safety, WMS and H2S certificates
