About the Company

Lanterna Education works with ambitious IB students across 80+ countries. We connect talented tutors with students who need support across their IB journey, from exam prep to long-term academic guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with IB students online, primarily tutoring DP subjects
  • Explain complex concepts and work through problems collaboratively
  • Set homework and adapt teaching styles to meet individual student needs
  • Support students with Extended Essays, TOK, IGCSE, or university mentoring where applicable

Requirements

  • Scored 40+ in the IB Diploma
  • Achieved a 7 in the subject(s) you intend to tutor
  • Ability to explain complex ideas clearly and naturally
  • Reliable hardware including a laptop, microphone, and stable internet connection
  • Confidence in online tutoring and using digital tools to engage students
  • Currently at university or a recent graduate
