About the role
Responsibilities
- Design IAM solutions that meet client business processes, security policies, and compliance requirements
- Develop and implement scalable and secure IAM architecture including access control and authentication
- Conduct IAM infrastructure assessments to identify risks and vulnerabilities
- Maintain technical currency with the latest IAM tools and solutions
- Develop IAM policies and procedures aligned with business objectives
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the IAM solution lifecycle
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management consulting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience developing and implementing IAM architectures (access control, authentication, identity management)
- Knowledge of IAM technologies including Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, and MFA
- SAML and CAS expertise for service configuration and IdP management
- Experience with IdP solutions such as Ellucian Ethos Identity, WSO2, Shibboleth, Apereo CAS, QuickLaunch, PortalGuard, Entra ID, ADFS, or Okta
- Experience with the LDAP protocol and directory servers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ellucian Products and Single-Sign-On Configuration
- Experience with Ellucian User Provisioning (EUP)
- Experience with IAM tools including InCommon, Shibboleth, Grouper, Midpoint, Comanage, Microsoft Identity Manager, and Entra ID
- Technical skills with Java and Java Server Pages
- Knowledge of MFA products for solution design and deployment
- Knowledge of the SPML framework
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- CIAM, CISSP, or CISM certifications

What we look for
- 5+ years IAM consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with IAM architectures
