Immigration Legal Analysis Virtual Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews to collect information and explain procedural requirements for U-Certs and related visa filings
• Prepare all necessary forms, petitions, and supporting documents for filing
• Conduct legal research on relevant immigration laws, policies, and regulations
• File applications with appropriate government agencies
• Oversee and manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure proper organization of client information
• Maintain communication with clients to provide updates on case status
• Assist with administrative tasks related to immigration case management
• Monitor changes in immigration laws and policies to ensure compliance
• Continuously develop legal knowledge and skills through training and collaboration

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of experience in immigration law, specifically with non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings (U-Certs and USCIS petitions)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) with high proficiency in both written and spoken communication
• Previous experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in another legal capacity
• Familiarity with family-based petitions, humanitarian visas, EOIR procedures, detained cases, and citizenship applications is a plus
• Experience with case management software and other legal tools
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
