About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of Indirect Tax engagements with a professional and commercial approach
- Manage large VAT implementation teams including client functional experts and consultant specialists
- Identify market opportunities and develop commercial propositions for new and existing clients
- Build and maintain tax relationships and advise on VAT/GST impacts on supply chains and financial systems
- Advise on taxation implications of international trade and assist with customs regulations compliance
Requirements
- Degree in economics, finance, tax, or accounting
- Relevant Masters degree, CPA, ACA, CA, CMA, SOCPA, Law, or CTA qualification
- At least 6 years of relevant experience as an Indirect Tax professional
- Proven VAT/GST advisory experience
- Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm
- Experience from law firms or relevant industry sectors
