About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain coding quality of 95% or greater
- Meet client productivity targets
- Provide inpatient coding expertise in an acute care setting
Requirements
- AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CIC, COC) certification
- Minimum 2 years recent inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting
- Experience in coding ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS diagnosis and procedure codes
- Knowledge of MS DRG Coding Classification Systems
- Technical competency with remote-based connectivity including VPNs, MFA, and video conferencing
- Proficiency with office software including Outlook and Excel
- Committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance
