About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage schedule of QM team quality management activities and education
- Monitor and manage key metrics for the QM team including productivity and staff utilization
- Oversee and ensure continued growth of organizational initiatives including Upskilling and HOP to HIP
- Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and design programs
- Develop and implement annual education plan including HIPAA training and ICD10 updates
- Perform quality reviews on QM auditors and internal staff
- Oversee and/or provide education to coders and auditors based on audit findings
- Partner with Sales/Account Management for business development opportunities related to the LMS
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in health information management or associate degree in health information technology
- Current CCS designation or equivalent credential
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Learning Management System development and maintenance
- Exceptional communication skills for internal and client education
- Strong industry knowledge in mid-revenue cycle operations, HIM, and coding
- Strong leadership skills with strategic vision
