Inpatient Quality and Education Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage schedule of QM team quality management activities and education
• Monitor and manage key metrics for the QM team including productivity and staff utilization
• Oversee and ensure continued growth of organizational initiatives including Upskilling and HOP to HIP
• Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and design programs
• Develop and implement annual education plan including HIPAA training and ICD10 updates
• Perform quality reviews on QM auditors and internal staff
• Oversee and/or provide education to coders and auditors based on audit findings
• Partner with Sales/Account Management for business development opportunities related to the LMS

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in health information management or associate degree in health information technology
• Current CCS designation or equivalent credential
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Learning Management System development and maintenance
• Exceptional communication skills for internal and client education
• Strong industry knowledge in mid-revenue cycle operations, HIM, and coding
• Strong leadership skills with strategic vision
