Job description

Responsibilities

  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
  • Collaborate with Sales Supervisor and Account Managers on strategic sales approaches
  • Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers for cross-selling and up-selling
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues
  • Enter new customer data and update existing accounts in the corporate database

Requirements

  • University or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2 to 3 years of direct work experience in a sales or telesales capacity
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification and account development
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to occasionally travel to sales events or exhibits
