Job description
Responsibilities
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
- Collaborate with Sales Supervisor and Account Managers on strategic sales approaches
- Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects
- Set up and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers for cross-selling and up-selling
- Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues
- Enter new customer data and update existing accounts in the corporate database
Requirements
- University or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of direct work experience in a sales or telesales capacity
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification and account development
- Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to occasionally travel to sales events or exhibits
