About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop inbound and outbound leads
- Partner with field sales organization to develop joint plans and strategies to meet targets
- Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales executives
- Focus on strategic opportunities including retargeting and dormant accounts
- Convert leads to revenue or hand off to Field Sales Organization
- Close sales and achieve quarterly targets
- Attend customer meetings, conferences, and tradeshows
Requirements
- 1-3 years of inside sales experience within the biotech or life sciences industry
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or a related field
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
