Inspector - Scheduling and Passenger Information

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc inspections of buses, bus stops, stations and shelters
• Verify accuracy of timetables, stop equipment and real-time information displays
• Issue violations to non-compliant drivers, operators and users under RTA regulations
• Supervise installation and removal of stop frames, timetables and poles during network updates
• Maintain databases of inspection findings, stop-level data and equipment status
• Submit daily inspection reports and compliance assessments to the supervisor

Requirements

• High school plus 5 years of experience, or diploma plus 2 years
• Knowledge of governance and compliance
• Understanding of inspection principles and standards
• Knowledge of legislative compliance
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and traffic environments
