Institutional Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and develop high-value institutional clients including investment firms, asset management companies, and family offices
• Build a consistent client pipeline through industry events, peer referrals, and in-person visits
• Develop a thorough understanding of client trading strategies and deliver tailored service solutions
• Maintain regular engagement to drive growth in AUM, trading activity, and platform stickiness
• Take full ownership of key performance metrics including AUM, trading volume, and revenue
• Provide consultative product recommendations across spot, derivatives, and structured products
• Coordinate with internal product, risk, compliance, and operations teams to deliver bespoke solutions
• Stay current on institutional crypto market trends and competitor strategies

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience in the Web3 industry
• Hands-on experience with exchanges, wallets, custody solutions, or DeFi products
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Basic understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and risk-return profiles
• Background in banking, securities, or asset management is a strong plus
• KPI and result orientation with ability to use data for performance management
• Ability to work in both Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing high-potential client relationships or account operations
• Ability to thrive in a high-intensity work pace with frequent travel
