About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric intake evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults
- Develop individualized treatment plans to establish a clinical foundation for ongoing care
- Build trust and connection with patients and families to support long-term engagement
- Collaborate with therapists and healthcare professionals to create coordinated treatment plans
- Provide consultation and education to families regarding diagnoses and treatment options
- Oversee diagnostic testing and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program
- PMHNP-BC certification
- At least one year of independent psychiatric experience under licensure
- Active PMHNP, DEA license, and State Prescriptive Authority in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and/or New Jersey
- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week during peak after-school hours (after 4pm ET weekdays or weekends)
