Intake Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric intake evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults
• Develop individualized treatment plans to establish a clinical foundation for ongoing care
• Build trust and connection with patients and families to support long-term engagement
• Collaborate with therapists and healthcare professionals to create coordinated treatment plans
• Provide consultation and education to families regarding diagnoses and treatment options
• Oversee diagnostic testing and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program
• PMHNP-BC certification
• At least one year of independent psychiatric experience under licensure
• Active PMHNP, DEA license, and State Prescriptive Authority in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and/or New Jersey
• Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week during peak after-school hours (after 4pm ET weekdays or weekends)
