Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST APIs for client integrations following best practices
• Build and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions for integration logic
• Extend and maintain Python listener services consuming queue messages for ad-hoc reports
• Develop custom Excel and PDF reports based on client and business requirements
• Write clean, tested code with logging, monitoring, and error handling
• Collaborate with client-facing teams to translate requirements into technical specs
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in production
• Document APIs, data flows, and integration processes

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL
• Strong proficiency in Python for APIs and message queue consumers
• REST API design and standards, including OAuth2 or API keys
• Experience with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Report generation in Excel and PDF
• Solid understanding of relational databases, Oracle preferred
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices

Preferred Qualifications

• API gateways or integration platforms such as Kong, MuleSoft, or Apache Camel
• Containerization with Docker and cloud environments
• Client onboarding or integration project lifecycle exposure
