Interaction Designer

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to define requirements and develop solutions
• Perform user research and observation to transform mental models into user interfaces
• Develop user profiles, usability requirements, use cases, and scenarios
• Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile solutions using storyboards and mockups
• Prototype designs iteratively to represent the UI and user research findings
• Utilize cognitive techniques to evaluate interfaces with end users

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors Engineering, HCI, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in User Centered Design / HCI
• 3+ years of experience in User Research
• 3+ years of experience in Interaction Design
• 3+ years of experience in designing web and mobile interfaces
• 3+ years of experience developing user requirements and scenarios
• Proficiency with prototype tools such as Balsamiq, Visio, or similar
