About the role
Responsibilities
- Make proactive daily sales calls to new and existing representatives
- Maintain relationships to drive repeat producers
- Make prospecting calls and pass qualified leads to External Wholesalers
- Provide product education on features, benefits and competitor comparisons
- Create sales opportunities and manage follow-up through the pipeline
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan with External Wholesalers
- Maintain representative profiles and sales activity in Protective databases
Requirements
- Insurance or investment sales experience recommended
- Adaptable and flexible to meet wholesaler and industry needs
- Competitive drive and self-starter attitude
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Series 6, Series 63 and Life license required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
