About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Inter-Agency Assessment Team (IAAT) for the UNCT-SWAP Gender Equality Scorecard assessment in Tunisia
- Conduct desk reviews of relevant UNCT documents, including CCA, UNSDCF, and joint planning documents
- Support data collection and evidence gathering to rate performance indicators
- Contribute to gender analysis of verification documents and provide technical support for stakeholder working sessions
- Adapt and complete the rating matrix based on inter-agency discussions
- Draft the comprehensive UNCT-SWAP narrative report and an accompanying Action Plan
- Present findings and recommendations to the Gender Theme Group and UNCT members for validation
Requirements
- Master's degree in social sciences, political sciences, human rights, or gender equality (or a Bachelor's with 2 additional years of experience)
- At least 5 years of work experience in mainstreaming gender in international development
- Proven experience in gender data collection and analysis (interviews, surveys, focus groups)
- Proficiency in English and French
- Strong research, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD degree
- Experience working with the United Nations on gender equality issues
- Previous experience with the UNCT-SWAP Gender Equality Scorecard or related reporting frameworks
- Experience in results-based management, review, or evaluation processes
- Experience conducting gender training for development agency staff
- Knowledge of Arabic
