About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control inventory movements across warehouses, stores, and distribution channels
- Reconcile physical stock counts against system records and investigate discrepancies
- Analyze inventory variances, shrinkage, damages, and stock losses
- Support cycle counts, annual stock-taking and month-end inventory close
- Prepare inventory, stock aging and variance reports using Excel and Power BI
- Support internal and external audits and maintain inventory documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration
- 3-5 years in inventory accounting, retail finance, cost accounting or financial analysis
- Strong understanding of inventory valuation, COGS and landed cost calculation
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and SUMIFS
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Dynamics
Preferred Qualifications
- CMA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent
- Retail, fashion, FMCG or supply chain experience
- Power BI experience
