About the role
Responsibilities
- Create expert-level financial challenges inspired by investment banking, private equity, venture capital and hedge fund workflows
- Develop financial modeling exercises involving DCF valuations, LBOs, M&A transactions and capital structure analysis
- Construct realistic investment scenarios with incomplete information and conflicting financial indicators
- Design research assignments requiring interpretation of SEC filings, earnings reports and market data
- Identify limitations in advanced AI models by assessing their analytical methods and investment conclusions
- Develop solutions, evaluation frameworks and benchmarks measuring AI performance against professional finance standards
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Top 25 MBA program, preferably with finance focus
- 2+ years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, asset management or equity research
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, financial statement analysis and due diligence
- Hands-on experience with DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis or precedent transactions
- Experience preparing investment memoranda, pitch books or investment committee presentations
- Excellent quantitative reasoning, analytical judgment and written communication skills
