Islamic Teacher For Non Arabs

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Islamic Studies education to a diverse student body in Cycle 1 and Cycle 2
• Foster spiritual growth and cultural understanding within the American curriculum framework
• Implement differentiated instruction and diverse teaching methodologies
• Employ effective formative and summative assessment strategies
• Utilize educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning outcomes
• Create a positive, respectful, and disciplined learning environment
• Contribute to the holistic development and well-being of students

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies, Sharia, Quranic Sciences, or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time teaching experience in Islamic Studies for non-Arab students
• Mandatory experience teaching within an American curriculum school setting
• IELTS score of 5.5 or above
• All degrees must be attested by UAE MOFA and possess UAE MOE equivalency
• Eligibility for or possession of an ADEK Teacher License
• Ability to teach across Cycle 1 (KG2-Grade 2) and Cycle 2 (Grade 3-Grade 5)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the UAE or broader GCC region
• Proficiency in integrating Islamic Studies content within US Standards/Common Core frameworks
