IT Cloud Operations Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deploy scheduled and emergency patches and upgrades while minimizing service disruption
• Provision, maintain, configure, and scale cloud servers and systems for performance and resilience
• Monitor high-availability environments and data flows using AI-powered observability and predictive analytics
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to outages and implement corrective actions
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and maintain dashboards, reports, and governance controls
• Monitor cloud costs and identify optimization opportunities using FinOps practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in IT or cloud operations
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, server management, IP networking, and network security
• Experience maintaining applications in Linux and Windows environments
• Experience with cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS, preferably Google Cloud or AWS
• Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
• Experience with database administration and performance tuning (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery)
• Experience with continuous integration, log collection, GitHub/GitLab, and AIOps
