About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead major compliance projects covering ICT implementation reviews and regulatory requirements
- Review and approve technology changes from a compliance perspective
- Monitor compliance with regulatory technical standards such as MiFID II RTS 6
- Oversee compliance aspects of the system development lifecycle
- Act as compliance liaison for technology and trading teams
- Participate in and respond to regulatory examinations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Experience in technology compliance and ICT implementation oversight
- Knowledge of ICT governance and control frameworks
- Understanding of electronic trading regulatory technical standards
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or JD degree
- Certifications such as ITIL 4, ISO/IEC 27001, CISA, CRISC
- Experience at a proprietary trading or HFT firm
- Programming skills in Python and SQL
