Java Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead software development for Java-based services and technical delivery
• Build REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem tools
• Work with MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle, Kafka, Docker, and AWS-related infrastructure tasks
• Support testing practices, automation, and collaboration with front-end and cross-functional teams
• Contribute to data validation, scripting, and legacy Java web framework support as needed

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Hands-on knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle, Kafka, and Docker
• Basic AWS experience and Terraform modifications
• Unit and integration testing experience with JUnit and Spock
• English proficiency for technical communication
• Strong problem-solving and cross-cultural collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Python for scripting and validation tasks
• AngularJS, HTML5, and JavaScript exposure
• Groovy/Grails or legacy Java frameworks
• Java EE technologies such as EJB, JSF, JPA/Hibernate, and Struts
