About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers
- Determine food presentation and create decorative displays
- Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and garnish
- Monitor food quantity and kitchen supply stock
- Inform F&B staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items
- Maintain kitchen logs for food safety programs
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees
- Follow all company safety and security policies
- Address guest service needs professionally
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of related work experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
