About the role
Responsibilities
- Record and process daily financial transactions
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial reports, account summaries, and spreadsheets
- Monitor outstanding invoices, payments, and account balances
- Assist with journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Requirements
- Degree, diploma, or relevant coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role
- Experience with financial transactions, reconciliations, and invoices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic understanding of general ledger and month-end closing processes
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- English proficiency for communication with clients and vendors
What we look for
