About the role
Responsibilities
- Verify, allocate, record and reconcile financial transactions
- Assist with monthly and annual financial closing activities
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements
- Maintain lease accounting records under IFRS 16 and update BC365 entries
- Assist with budgeting, quarterly forecasts and financial analysis
- Support external audits and improve accounting procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting
- Practical knowledge of IFRS 16 lease accounting
- Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics Business Central, SAP or Oracle
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an industrial or project-based environment
- Professional accounting certification
- UAE driving licence
