About the role
Responsibilities
- Record and process daily financial transactions accurately
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial reports, account summaries, and spreadsheets
- Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Assist with audits by gathering and organizing documentation
Requirements
- Degree, diploma, or relevant coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- English proficiency for collaborating with English-speaking clients and teams
What we look for
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable/receivable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting software
- Understanding of general ledger and month-end closing
