About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen workers
- Determine food presentation and create decorative food displays
- Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish for all served items
- Monitor food quantity prepared and manage kitchen stock levels
- Inform Food & Beverage staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees
- Maintain kitchen logs for food safety programs and product quality
- Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies
Requirements
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
- 4 to 6 years of related culinary work experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
