Junior Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen workers
• Determine food presentation and create decorative food displays
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish for all served items
• Monitor food quantity prepared and manage kitchen stock levels
• Inform Food & Beverage staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees
• Maintain kitchen logs for food safety programs and product quality
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies

Requirements

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
• 4 to 6 years of related culinary work experience
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
