Junior Sous Chef (Mediterranean Restaurant)

Responsibilities

• Create innovative and appealing menus catering to hotel guests
• Manage kitchen operations and ensure smooth service
• Supervise food preparation, monitoring portion sizes and quality
• Implement food safety protocols and HACCP standards
• Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff
• Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs
• Coordinate special events, banquets, and catering services
• Maintain kitchen equipment and support sustainability practices
• Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Cluster Sous Chef

Requirements

• Proven experience in a hotel or fine dining establishment
• Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution
• Strong culinary skills and passion for food presentation
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask
