About the Company
The German International School Abu Dhabi (GISAD) is a recognized German international school with currently over 500 students from kindergarten to Abitur. GISAD has been repeatedly recognized by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge as one of the best schools in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead educator in implementing age-appropriate curricula and activities
- Provide individual care and support to children as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during all activities
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other daily routines
- Assist in observing and assessing children's learning progress and behavior
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding successes and challenges
- Collaborate with team members on activity planning and organization
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the kindergarten program development
Requirements
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Understanding of child development and early childhood education principles
- Proficiency in the German language
- Strong social and communication skills
- High level of commitment, creativity, and resilience
- Ability to work flexibly and with a strong sense of responsibility
